I am very concerned about the comment that “front line” workers will have input in decision making! Who are these people? Why only them? What are their “special” qualifications to rule others, excludng others from the democratic process. A switch in dictators is not democracy! Do you have any idea how insulting this statement, and the idea, is to the rest of us? Many or most of these people have no more qualification to make decisions than the rest of us,…and we know whose best interest they will support. These front line people already have too much advantage over the rest of Albertans as it is. Many people NOT in these “elite-ist” front line occupations are far more superior in education, experience and decision-making ability. If this were just a “promise” to garner mass votes from these sectors, that is one thing. But if you truly intend to limit democracy to only the over-paid professionals, then I have to give the idea, if not the Party, a “FAIL”. There is a lot of “negative” views within your Party as it is.
I want a FULL response to this concern, and before the election, please!
